Here is a Step by Step guide on how to hide Recycle Bin from desktop in Windows 10 PC. When you are sharing a computer with multiple users, it’s tough to maintain privacy. Some users delete their personal files from the computer but forget to remove them from the Recycle Bin.

You can even make use of the keys “Shift + Del” to delete files permanently without sending them to the Bin. However, there is another solution. You can simply remove the Recycle Bin from the desktop. Note that hiding does not delete the files in the Bin. You can choose to show/hide the Recycle Bin on the desktop whenever you want.   • Right Click on the desktop and go to Personalize.

  • Go to the Themes menu on the left bar.

  • Now, you won’t be able to see the Recycle Bin Icon on your desktop screen.
