Zuckerberg Confirms Meta’s New VR Headset launch

Mark Zuckerberg had a Podcast with Joe Rogan, where he confirmed the release of Meta’s VR Headset Launch.

The VR is codenamed, Project Cambria. And is most likely to be released in October 2022.

Further details on the Device will be given at Meta’s upcoming connect conference event, which is supposed to be conducted in October.

The podcast lasted for over 3 hours as Mark and Joe talk about Meta, Virtual Martial Arts, VR Games, Remote Work, Fitness Industry, the New VR Headset, and much more.

Zuckerberg also stated that he wants to help people connect with expressions by using the new upcoming VR Headset.

The New VR will be able to track the facial expressions of the user and display them on their avatar.

It is reported that the VR Headset has cameras on the outer side to create a mix-reality experience for the user.

Moreover, the VR might have advanced eye and facial recognition features so that the virtual avatars show the same expressions as the users in the real world.

Mark also said the video calling will be more realistic as the VR will convince the brain that the person is right there.

Meta is supposed to launch 3 more headsets by 2024.
